The Diocese of Knoxville requires all employees and volunteers over the age of 18 who may be alone with or in proximity to a minor or vulnerable adult to complete Safe Environment training (Safe Haven) before beginning ministry.
Renewal training is mandatory every 5 years. The program began in July 2020, so anyone who completed it then must now renew to remain in compliance. For more information, visit:
