Beginning April 20/21 | In Person at Church on Mondays 10-11:30am or Online Via Zoom on Tuesdays 7:30-9pm
Do you have a desire to be closer to Christ? Would you like to re-invigorate your prayer life? We all need a “tune up” from time to time. Has anyone ever really taught you how to pray, other than the words of the “Hail Mary” and similar prayers? “Oremus” means “Let us pray.” Join us for an eight week session called “Oremus: A Guide To Catholic Prayer.” This study program is led by Fr. Mark Toups who teaches you the essentials of an effective and fruitful prayer life. In class we will watch video presentations followed by small group discussions.
Oremus will teach us how to find time for prayer and that God is constantly pursuing us and wants us to go deeper in relationship with Him. We will learn how to deal with distractions and dryness in our prayer lives, how to place ourselves in the presence of God, and how to hear His voice. Our class will meet either in person at Church on Mondays 10 – 11:30 AM OR via Zoom on Tuesdays from 7:30 – 9 PM. Classes start on April 20 (in person) or April 21 (Zoom). Open to all men and women of the parish. To register or for more information, contact Maureen O’Grady at mogrady3@earthlink.net
