This year’s Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus holds special significance.
As part of the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, the U.S. bishops will consecrate the nation to the Sacred Heart on June 11.
The Diocese of Knoxville will celebrate its own consecration at a special Mass on June 12, and our parish will renew its consecration following all Masses on June 13–14.
Parishioners are also invited to learn about the Enthronement of the Sacred Heart in the Home and may contact the Legion of Mary for more information.
